about me

I am a writer. I love to craft narratives that excite, inform and inspire readers.

By times in my work, I have nudged the status quo offering new, grounded knowledge with a lasting impression. Through crafted words, I help communicate the why as much as the what of a business, endeavour or exhibition -- optimizing click throughs, conversions and conversations through blogs, newsletters, didactics, posts and more.

And not to overlook live presentations where compelling copy can propel one's message to a new level quickly. Below are some holistic health schools, health expos, radio programs and podcasts where I have presented live.
I hold an MA in Art History from Queen's University, a BA in Art History & Criticism and a degree in Education both from Western University. I have many years of experience in writing about art and history as a curator, teacher and arts administrator including most recently, three years as an in-house writer and editor for a commercial gallery. I am also a non-fiction book author. Published in 2017, this history of allergy is a deep dive into the complex world of health politics. My additional forays into wellness include studies in holistic nutrition .

Specializing in:
  • history, visual culture, exhibition didactics
  • the art market, art business, art history
  • health & wellness, holistic nutrition
  • alternative health practices
  • allergy
  • advocacy, health politics
